Simon played amateur soccer in Ghana for over 10 years. He also played both non-competitive and competitive soccer in Manitoba for over 8 years. He coached Otterburne Flames Under 18 for 2000 & 2001 in Otterburne, Manitoba.
During the same time period, he coached Providence University College women’s team. He has now been coaching development soccer teams for the past 8 years.
Simon currently holds a CSA Provincial C coaching license.
Because of his love and passion for the game of soccer, he decided to give back to Manitoba communities. “What can I give to make someone else’s life better?” One way is soccer.
